Bastille Day
It’s Bastille Day. I, at the very least, would like to set at least one governmental institution on fire, Probably more. Occasionally all of them.
Also, people like to pretend I’m getting older when everyone knows diamond is both immortal and ageless.
If anyone is looking for me, I’ll be drinking French champagne somewhere and possibly knitting something shapeless and revolutionary. And making snicker-snack noises.
Why yes, renovations are going well. How can you tell?

Let’s go with "I have a list".
Of course, despite this country's delightfully deluded insistence that America is a classless society where everyone can pull themselves up by their bootstraps, Boston Frosts are definitely aristocracy, which does put me in a slightly awkward position. However, I was born in the body of a truly fabulous mutant, which renders my existence inherently political, even if I didn’t make certain choices.
I am dealing with the cognitive dissonance (and the necessity to replace the ENTIRETY of the Club's antiquated internal plumbing) by the application of copious quantities of Veuve Clicquot.

only the shitty things. I have a list as well. Theoretically.
The only people that insist that America is classless are the ones who are at the top and never look beyond their country clubs.
